Many years ago, I was at a very strategic junction in my life. I wanted to know which way to go in life. I had some career and further academic openings elsewhere outside the country. My wife and I had openings for further study and practice of medicine in the university in London. There was also another opening in the Middle East where doctors were being engaged for a very good salary at the time. And I also wanted to know if I was to remain and do something in Nigeria.
It was at this point that I decided to seek the Face of God to know His mind and purpose for my life. So, I went to the mountain to pray for three days. I asked God as I prayed in the Spirit, “Lord, where do I go? Which way do I go?”
I spent the whole of the first day; that is, about twenty four hours praying in the Spirit, but I didn’t hear anything from God. So, I continued in prayer the second day. I was still praying in the Spirit and asking God questions. Then in the evening of the second day, when I had spent almost thirty-six hours in praying in the spirit, God began to speak to me, saying: “What I told you ten years ago concerning my assignment for your life, this is the time to fulfil it”.
I asked God, “How do I go about it?” and He made it clear to me that I was meant to begin a full-blast fulltime ministry.
Oh! I thought I would practice Medicine and then preach side-by-side. I continued praying in the Spirit and asking God questions, “Where am I expected to start the assignment?” And He said, “Abuja city, Nigeria.”
Then I said to God, “I don’t know anyone there. If I go there now, I don’t know where to sleep.” As I prayed in the Spirit, the revelations were coming bit-by-bit and at the end, God answered my questions. So, praying in the Spirit reveals the Mind and Purpose of God for your life. My counsel is, make praying in the Spirit your habitual practice.

TODAY’S SEEDS OF DESTINY 27TH JULY 2022 SOD ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Know the Mind of God by praying in the Spirit always.
2. Refuse a lazy approach to prayer. Pray with all your might and energy.
PRAYER: Thank You Lord for Your Word to me today. I receive fresh grace to pray abundantly in the Spirit, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
