TOPIC: A PASSWORD FOR THE BEGINNING.

SCRIPTURE: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. JOHN 1:1

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: It is dangerous to begin a thing without the Word.

It has been established that the Word of God is a tool for creation and beginning. In Genesis Chapter One, we see how the Word of God established several breakthroughs at the beginning of creation. Incredible things happened in the beginning of creation at the frequency of the Word.

Today, we shall be looking at the breakthrough power of the Word of God. When the Word happens, there is the initiation of a new beginning. The Word of God carries the power for the initiation of new beginning. In the beginning, the Word was released, and creation happened. At the wedding in Canaan of Galilee, the Word, in the person of our Master Jesus Christ sat, and wine shortage was arrested, and the wedding happened. It took the presence of the Word for that wedding to be successful without embarrassment.

You see, everything that must begin and end well must begin with the Word. That is why you should not be afraid to begin when you are with the Word. You can begin the right career if you locate the appropriate Word as a divine direction and marching order to begin. You can begin a journey if you locate the Word. The only time you cannot begin is when you have not found the Word. It is dangerous to begin a thing without the Word.

Look at the case of Peter for instance. He had closed his fishing endeavour for the day. He toiled all night and caught nothing. What a terrible experience! In fact, he had begun to wash his net concluding that he had failed, then something happened: a Word came from the Master, Launch the nets into the deep…(Luke 5:4), meaning, “begin again.” And as he obeyed the Word, he could not recover from the massive harvest of fishes he took. Beyond that, that Word also came to open a new chapter in the life and destiny of Peter. It was his end as a fisher of fish and his beginning as a fisher of men.

Beloved, that new chapter that you have been trusting God for can be opened when the right Word arrives. It doesn’t matter how bad the current chapter of your life is, the Word can open a whole new and glorious chapter in your life.

Remember this: It is dangerous to begin a thing without the Word.

ASSIGNMENT(S):
1. Locate a word from the scripture that will form the foundation of anything you want to begin.

2. Take the necessary steps without a doubt or delay whenever you receive direction from the Word.

PRAYER: Lord, I ask for a Word that will establish the beginning of something spectacular in my life. I receive grace for a healthy appetite for Your Word, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
