TOPIC: DARE IT!
SCRIPTURE: Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. JAMES 2:17.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Your faith will never grow if you dodge challenges.
Sometime ago, I met a man with a cervical collar on his neck at the Airport in Lagos. I went straight to him and asked, “Are you okay?
He replied, “I have a problem with my neck.” And I said to him, “I am anointed to remove this neck collar on your neck,” and he gave me his consent to proceed. So, I led him to Christ and prayed for him and removed the cervical collar. Immediately, he turned his neck in all directions and was totally healed.
About six months or one year later, he called me on phone and said, “Sir, can you remember me? You prayed for me at Lagos airport. I want to let you know that I am still healed, and I am coming to church.”
Beloved, the exercise of faith is what builds and grows faith. Athletes do not build their muscles without carrying weight. In the same manner, you cannot build your faith without confronting spiritual opposition. When you exercise your faith, you grow your faith. Your faith will never grow if you dodge challenges. If you dodge battles, you deny your faith the opportunity to grow.
Someone may ask, “What if I pray for something and it does not happen?” Keep on praying and keep on believing, and a time will come when it must happen.
Beloved, give your faith the opportunity to grow by exercising it. And as you do so, I see you shift to the realms of exploits in life and destiny, in Jesus’ Name.
Remember this: Your faith will never grow if you dodge challenges.
ASSIGNMENT(S):
1. Locate light from scripture, believe it, get action points, execute the actions and expect the manifestation.
2. Do not hesitate to dare what you need to dare; just dare it and leave the rest for God.
3. Speak against every enemy confrontation around your life.
PRAYER: Father, I receive grace and disciple to build my faith. I confront every challenge around my life by the Power of Your Name, the Force of Faith and the Anointing of the Holy Spirit, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
