Seeds of Destiny Today SOD Devotional 23rd November 2025

TOPIC: LOVE YOUR LIFE.

SCRIPTURE: And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. MARK 12:31.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: To love yourself, you must see yourself the way God sees you.

It has been confirmed that no one can love his neighbour who does not love himself. It is not possible!

Our anchor scripture admonishes you to love your neighbour as yourself. That is, to be able to love your neighbour, you must first love yourself.

Our treatment and relationship with people are a product of how we see ourselves.

There are people who take to the life of crime even though they know their life could be cut short at any moment, yet they are not bothered because they don’t have value for their lives.

It is when we love ourselves, value ourselves that we can value and love other people. And it is when we love people that we truly begin to love like God.
Now, how do you love yourself?

1. To love yourself, you must see yourself the way God sees you. Don’t see yourself the way the world wants you to see yourself. You are wonderfully and fearfully made.
2. You must avoid iniquity. Iniquity attacks dignity. Just like the quality of gold is attacked by impurity, your dignity, the quality of your life is attacked by iniquity. Sin makes you feel guilty and that makes you hate yourself.
3. You must refuse the verdict of man on your life. Reject negative verdicts or pronouncements against your life immediately, no matter who they come from. Be around where you are valued. Refuse to hang around those who devalue you.
4. Take heed to yourself; do not abandon your life. Pay attention to your life. Do not hold your past against yourself.
5. Improve yourself. Stagnation brings frustration. When you are not growing, you begin to groan.
6. Be a blessing. Being a blessing means to live to give. Live to impact your world. Live to make a difference. Be a blessing, not a burden. When you see the number of lives you have touched, when you see the number of people who escaped hell for heaven because of you, it moves your own value to another level. It gives you a kind of joy that money cannot buy.

REMEMBER THIS: To love yourself, you must see yourself the way God sees you.

ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Embrace yourself; you are fearfully and wonderfully made.
2. Invest in personal growth; don’t remain stagnant, because stagnation leads to frustration.
3. Touch people’s lives spiritually, financially, and emotionally so your existence can add value to others.

PRAYER: Lord, thank You for making me fearfully and wonderfully. Help me to love myself as You love me and to reflect your Love to my generation, Lord in Jesus’ Name.

THE MESSAGE IN SONGS
SONG OF THE WEEK

AS I THINK ABOUT MY LIFE
BY DR PAUL ENENCHE
Verse 1
As I think about my life
As I think about Your love
That has brought me to this point in my life
I am full of assurance
That my life is in Your Hands
So, I’ve come to worship You O’ Lord

Chorus
I have come to tell You
How much Lord I love You
Lord I’ve come to tell You
That You mean so much to my life
Lord I’ve come to worship You
Lord I’ve come to give You Praise
Lord I’ve come to worship You alone
Lord I’ve come to worship You
Lord I’ve come to give you Praise
Lord I’ve come to worship You alone

Verse 2
When hopelessness is in place
For the people of the world
You remain my Confidence in this life
When men say they are cast down
I say there’s a lifting up
So, I’ve come to worship You O’ Lord

Verse 3
Time can be so uncertain
People so unreliable
But You are the Changeless One in my life
When all else decide to fail
You are the unfailing One
So, I’ve come to worship You O’ Lord
