TOPIC: YOUR VISION AND DIVINE PROVISION.
SCRIPTURE: And the Lord said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward:
For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever.” GENESIS 13:14-15.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Vision is the highway of divine provision; what a man sees determines what God gives.
Vision is a critical necessity in life and destiny. It is a highway to Divine provision. There is a connection between vision in man and provision from God.
The limitations of man are not situational; they are limitations of vision. People of vision enjoy tremendous provision from God, and that makes them blessed people. People of vision are blessed people and blessed people are people of vision.
Jacob was a man of vision; and he was also a blessed man. He received a vision of genetic engineering that altered the physical appearance of Laban’s flock (Genesis 30:37-42).
Similarly, Isaac became great not just because he was Abraham’s son, but because he had a vision of farming during a season of drought using irrigation. He got an enviable harvest in a time of famine at the frequency of a Divine technology (Genesis 26:12-13).
Dreams and visions are the seeds of reality.
What does not occur in vision cannot become a reality. Vision fuels right actions, and right actions sponsor expected outcomes. Jacob acted on what he saw in a dream, painting rods before the flock, and the result matched his vision. Vision is the highway of divine provision; what a man sees determines what God gives.
Now, how does vision produce Divine provision or blessing?
1. The vision in the heart of man determines the provision God releases into his hand. What a man sees determines what God can place in his hands. God checks your heart before He commits resources into your life. If it is not in your heart, it cannot enter your hand (Genesis 15:5). Your inner picture determines your outer possession.
2. Vision is the magnet of provision. Internal conviction compels external conditions to align. Your outward life always follows your inward vision. Your internal vision attracts your external supply. When you see it clearly on the inside, your circumstances must eventually align on the outside (Genesis 30:37-42).
3. Vision sustains hope and persistence until the blessing arrives. Many give up because they cannot see beyond their present challenges. Vision keeps you moving. It sustains faith amid famine, like it did for Isaac. Vision gives you the stamina to hold on until the blessing manifests.
Remember This: Vision is the highway of divine provision; what man sees determines what God gives.
ASSIGNMENTS
1. Load your heart daily with vision and conviction for a desirable future.
2. Refuse to allow your present situation to dictate your future reality.
3. Translate every vision into practical action, as Jacob did with the rods.
PRAYER: Lord, thank You for Your Word to me today. I receive the grace to live a life of vision and purpose so I can continue to attract Your provision and blessing, Lord in Jesus’ Name.
