TOPIC: DO WHAT YOU KNOW AND KNOW WHAT YOU DO.

SCRIPTURE: By his knowledge the depths are broken up, and the clouds drop down the dew. PROVERBS 3:20

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Where you are knowledgeable, there you are marketable.

A search throughout scripture confirms that the Bible is God’s manual for man’s life. It is the compass that helps us navigate every aspect of life and destiny.

There is no aspect of life that is not captured in the Bible. Philippians 2:6 says, Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ…. So, the Word of God is the Word of life; it is meant to teach us everything that pertains to life – Marital life, relationship life, career life, financial life, etc.

But for some inconceivable reasons, the church has not been talking about some aspects of life including finance for a long time. Financial dominion is a vital necessity in the life of a Christian because when a person is financially stable, it helps him serve God without the distraction of lack. Financial dominion helps us to fulfill dreams and visions that God has placed in our hearts.
Now, offering, giving and tithing are good and very critical, but they are not enough in the matter of resources multiplication.

There must be financial management wisdom to multiply resources.
So, today we shall be looking at one of such financial wisdom that will help us multiply resources and maintain financial dominion: Do what you know and know what you do.

It is crucial to do what you know and know what you do.

Please, note the following:
1. The area of your knowledge is the area of your breakthrough. Proverbs 3:20 says, By his knowledge the depths are broken up, and the clouds drop down the dew. So, your breakthrough is connected to your knowledge. Mental dominion provokes financial dominion.

2. Where you are knowledgeable, there you are marketable (1Kings 9:27). In scripture, John and James were fishermen. But they were fishermen who learned fishing from their father (Matthew 4:21). It was a big fishing company, and their father had employees (Mark 1:19-20). And because that was what they knew how to do, they followed their father in that trade.

Now, even if people are introducing a new business to you, try to know it, study it, understand it and know how it works. People have lost money because they were introduced into things they knew nothing about.

Beloved, when you venture into what you know, it will explode. It may be something you have natural understanding of. And if you find yourself in a trade, business, career or profession, learn about it; be updated so you are not outdated. Doctors go for refresher courses from time to time. Pilots are recertified after refresher flight training sessions every six months or one year.

Beloved, if you want to explode financially know what you do, be the best at it, and you will exist in the realm of financial dominion.

Remember this: Where you are knowledgeable, there you are marketable.

ASSIGNMENT (S):
1. Strive to acquire more knowledge in your career or business.
2. Seek God’s direction before you venture into any business or career.
3. If you at any point you realize that you are in the wrong business or career, ask God for a redirection.

PRAYER: Lord, I receive the strength and wisdom to multiply my resources for kingdom purpose. Open my eyes to insights needed to take what I do to the next level, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
