THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The Word of God familiarises the child of God with the Voice of God. Previously, we established that every time you are in touch with the Word of God, you are potentially in touch with the Voice of God. Today, we shall be looking at what the Word of God does for the child of God. Now, what does the Word of God do for the child of God? b. The Word of God connects you to the Person of God. And 1 Corinthians 14:10 says,

a. The Word of God familiarises the child of God with the Voice of God.
The Word of God familiarises you with the way God speaks. It helps you to recognise the Voice of your Maker and differentiates it from the voice of a stranger.
John 1:1 says,
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
