Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. – Matthew 5:14-16
Today’s Inspiration
God’s church has never been perfect, but it is so important that it strives for the best it can do! Each individual in the church must recognize that the world is watching them as a representative of the church, and so we must all do our best to be a light unto the world. We will stumble, but we have God on our side, and if we follow His ways, that light will shine through like the sun.
Sunday Prayer
Heavenly Father, I pray for Your church. May it be united, and may its individuals come to know You. May we all keep Your commandments. May we know Your truth and believe it with our whole hearts. May Your church be the light this world needs, Amen.
