TOPIC: WALLS OF WATER
Today’s Scripture: Exodus 14:21 22, NIV
The waters were divided, and the Israelites went through the sea on dry ground, with a wall of water on their right and on their left.
Today’s Word: When God parted the waters of the Red Sea, imagine being there, having to walk between walls of water, not knowing if, at any moment, they were going to collapse. Imagine holding your children tightly with Pharaoh and his chariots chasing you and closing in. It was loud and chaotic. People were panicking with all kinds of commotion surrounding them. It wasn’t until they were safely on the other side that they knew they had God’s favor.
The truth is that they had favor the whole time; they just couldn’t see it. Favor is what was holding back the walls of water and keeping the enemy from overcoming them. When you look around, you may see walls of water. You see opposition, trouble, and sickness. It looks frightening, but stay in peace. There is a force working for you in the middle of the storm that is greater than any force that’s trying to stop you. As with the Israelites, the favor that God put on your life is going to bring you safely through.
Prayer for Today: Father, thank You that I have favor in the storms and difficulties of life. Thank You that favor is holding back the walls of water and keeping my enemies from defeating me. I believe that what You have purposed for me will come to pass and nothing can stop it. In Jesus Name, Amen.
