Theme: Wisdom That Is Better Than Riches
Bible Verse: “For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it.” – Proverbs 8:11 (KJV)
Today’s Message:
In a world that places so much value on material wealth, God reminds us that wisdom is far more valuable than anything money can buy. Rubies, one of the most precious stones known to man, cannot compare to the worth of divine insight.
Wisdom gives you the ability to make the right choices, build strong relationships, avoid destruction, and walk in the will of God. Where riches can fade and fail, wisdom sustains, directs, and produces lasting fruit.
As we begin this Sunday and a new week, ask yourself: Am I chasing riches, or am I pursuing wisdom? True wisdom begins with the fear of the Lord (Proverbs 9:10). The more we seek Him, the more we are filled with His wisdom that leads to peace, favor, and enduring success.
Reflection Questions:
What decisions am I facing that require God’s wisdom today?
How am I valuing God’s wisdom in comparison to worldly gain?
Am I surrounding myself with people and resources that build godly wisdom in my life?
Today’s Prayer:
Dear Lord, thank You for this beautiful Sunday. I ask that You fill me with divine wisdom that surpasses human understanding. Help me to value Your insight more than any earthly treasure. Teach me to walk in Your ways and make choices that bring glory to Your name. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
