“But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.” – John 16:13 (NIV)
Prayer Before Reading:
Holy Spirit, We invite You into this moment as we read and reflect on Your Word. Be our teacher and guide, leading us into the truth of God’s promises. Open our hearts to understand and receive what You want to reveal to us. Help us to trust Your direction and discern Your voice in every area of our lives. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.
Message from the Verse:
This verse reminds us of the vital role of the Holy Spirit in the life of a believer. Jesus promises that the Spirit will guide us into all truth, revealing God’s will and helping us understand spiritual matters that we cannot grasp on our own. The Spirit speaks what He hears from the Father, ensuring that His guidance aligns perfectly with God’s Word. We are not left to figure life out alone — we have a divine Helper who leads, comforts, and reveals God’s plans to us.
