Bible Verse Reading for Monday 21st April 2025 – 1 Corinthians 9:16
“For when I preach the gospel, I cannot boast, since I am compelled to preach. Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel!”
Prayer
Heavenly Father, Thank You for the precious gift of the gospel. Stir in me a deep passion to share Your Word with boldness and love. Let me not be silent when the world needs truth. May Your Spirit compel me, guide me, and empower me to speak life, hope, and salvation wherever I go. Let it not be for recognition, but for Your glory alone. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Short Message
Paul’s words here express a divine urgency. Preaching the gospel wasn’t a choice for him—it was a calling he couldn’t ignore. As believers, we are entrusted with the same mission: to share the good news of Christ. It’s not about pride or position, but about obedience to God’s command and love for others. We are carriers of light in a dark world. Don’t underestimate the power of your testimony—it may be the very thing that leads someone to Christ.
