Bible Verse Reading for Wednesday 16th April 2025 – Ephesians 4:11-12
“And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.”
Prayer
Lord Jesus, Thank You for the gifts You have given to the Church—apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers. Raise up leaders who are full of wisdom, love, and truth. Equip them to train and strengthen the Body of Christ. Help us, as Your people, to be teachable, unified, and committed to the work of the ministry. May Your Church grow strong and mature, reflecting Your glory in all the earth. In Your Holy Name we pray, Amen.
Short Message
The fivefold ministry is not about titles—it’s about purpose. God equips His Church through apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers, not for show, but to strengthen, train, and mobilize every believer for ministry. When each part functions in love and unity, the whole Body of Christ is built up and matured.
