“Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls” (Matthew 11:29).
Taking Jesus’ yoke upon us actually frees us from the hard work that self-effort requires. Our burdens are made much lighter when we give them to Him as He instructs us to, and spend time in His presence.
