TOPIC: OPPOSERS TURNED SUPPORTERS
SCRIPTURE: “And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries?” (Joshua 5: 13)
That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.
In our Focal Scripture, Joshua saw a man who stood over against him, with his sword in his hand. The position of that man was ‘against’ the position of Joshua. That man’s standing position spoke of opposition. He appeared to have arisen against Joshua. Notice that he was an angel of the Lord; and though he stood against Joshua, he came to fight for Joshua. He stood against Joshua, but he came to work for the good of Joshua.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: everything that is currently standing against you will turn around and work for your good. Every man that is currently standing against you will start working for your good. Every policy set up against your interest will soon turn around to work in your favour. Every conspiracy that was intended to bring you down will turn around and work for your good. It may be against you now, but it is turning in your favour.
Joshua saw someone standing against him, but had no idea that it was an angel who came to fight on his behalf. He saw what appeared to be against him, without immediately knowing that it was meant to work for his good. May the Lord open your eyes to see the things that may appear against you but are there to work for your good. May the Lord cause you to discern the people who may appear as enemies but are there to work for you.
In this season, the Lord turns around the heart of your adversaries and they will become messengers for your increase and rising. The Lord turns around the hearts of those against you and they will start working for your good. The Lord turns around the mouths of those who are currently speaking against you, and henceforth, they will speak for you. The Lord turns around the men that are opposing you, and they will henceforth work for you.
Get set to have those that are against you turn around and work for your good. Get set to have God turn around the hearts of your opposers so that they can become your major supporters.
Romans 8: 28 says: “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
Declare With Me: My opposers have become my supporters, in Jesus’ name!
