TOPIC: KEPT BY THE LORD
SCRIPTURE: “And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.” (Revelations 12: 5)
That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.
In our Focal Scripture, mention is made about how the child that was birthed by the woman, was caught up to God and to His throne. When there was danger against this child, the child was kept safely at the throne of God. When the dragon showed up to devour and to consume, the child was taken to where God is, for safekeeping. The child was kept safe in the presence of God. What the enemy was to attack, was kept by God.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: whatever the enemy has sought to devour in your life, will be kept by the Lord. Your life is kept by the Lord. Your portion is kept by the Lord. Your results are kept by the Lord. Your new season is kept by the Lord. Your times are in the hands of God. Your greatness is kept by the hand of the Lord. Your harvest is kept by the Lord. Your opportunities are kept by the Lord. Whatever is yours is in the hands of the Lord.
The dragon thought he could devour the child of that woman when God was not in the picture; but the moment the child was caught up to God and to His throne, that was the end. The child got into the hands of God, and he was suddenly beyond the reach of the dragon. Whatever you have put in the hands of God is beyond the reach of the enemy. Whatever you have secured in God’s presence is out of bounds for the enemy.
If you have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus, then your life is hid in Christ and Christ in God. If Jesus has redeemed you, whatever concerns you is locked up in the hands of God and tied to His throne. I pray for you: your life will be kept by the Lord; your resources will be kept by the Lord; your ministry will be kept by the Lord; your marriage will be kept by the Lord; your days and years will be kept by the Lord; you are kept by the Lord.
Welcome to that season where nothing that concerns you will fall into the hands of the enemy. Welcome to that season where everything that concerns you will be kept by the hand of the Lord.
2 Timothy 1: 12 says: “For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.”
Declare With Me: I am kept by the hand of the Lord; everything that concerns me is kept by the Lord, in Jesus’ name!
