APRIL 2021 TESTIMONIES AND THANKSGIVING SERVICE – SUNDAY, 25TH APRIL 2021
ANCHOR SCRIPTURE(S): PROVERBS 4:7
MESSAGE TOPIC: ACCESS TO DIVINE WISDOM (2-4) By: Dr. Paul Enenche

SERVICE OBJECTIVE(S): Understanding Scriptural pathways to the wisdom of God
Wisdom is the principal requirement for the existence as a principal personality
Many great destinies ended as great disasters because of the bankruptcy of wisdom
Many great visions are unable to see daylight because of the absence of relevant wisdom
Vision is good but wisdom is heavier than plain vision
Unnecessary steps, sorrows and even premature death could be avoided if Divine wisdom is available

THE WAY OF DIVINE WISDOM:
4. Through meditation or reflection (Josh. 1:8; Acts 10:19; Luke 11:49; Prov. 20:5; Hab. 2:2)
4a. The process of thought, meditation or reflection provokes direction and revelation from the Lord
God speaks to those who think
Thinking is the productive engagement of the mind; worries are the destructive engagement of the mind
The wisdom of God always speaks
4b. The process of thought, meditation or reflection produces a harvest of ideas from the heart and mind of man (Prov. 20:5)

There is resident counsel in the mind of man and the process of thinking draws it out like you draw water from a well
Those who think deep don’t lack great ideas; those who know how to reflect don’t lack inspiration
The truth of the matter is, you think best when you think on paper; there is a connection between the pen and the thought

5. Through instruction (Prov. 15:33; 1:1-3; 8:33; 9:9; 15:5; 19:20; Job 36:3)
This refers to information acquisition or knowledge gathering
Knowledge is information, understanding is insight but wisdom is application of the insight; so wisdom is knowledge applied for the generation of results.
There can be no wisdom without information, knowledge or instruction
5a. Instructions, information and knowledge make options available in times of decision (Job 36:3)
5b. Instructions, information and knowledge make available insight from the accounts and experiences of others and that births wisdom

6. Through inquisition or enquiry (Prov. 25:1-2; Jer. 6:16; Eccl. 1:12-13; 7:12; Luke 2:46-47; Matt. 7:7)
The process of inquisition, enquiry and the asking of questions makes available the wisdom of God
The junction of decision is the junction of revelation if there can be inquisition
Those who don’t succeed rarely ask or answer questions

Dunamis Sunday Message 25th April 2021 by Pastor Paul Enenche

6a. The place of enquiry is the place of discovery (Luke 2:46-47)
What you look out for in life is the determinant of what you locate out of life
6b. God rewards interest with insight (Hos. 6:3)
God is interested in the interested
God is interested in the release of answers to people who possess genuine questions
God is super-excited with the inquisitive
Whenever you ask God for answers, don’t be in a hurry so that you don’t answer yourself
Don’t be afraid to ask God questions; the answers may not come immediately but they must come eventually

7. Through association with the wise (Prov. 13:20; 27:17; 1Cor. 15:33; Dan. 2:17-18)
If evil communications can corrupt good manners then good communications can correct bad manners
Your company is a reflection of your mentality
Your network is a reflection of your networth
It is better to walk alone than to walk with the wrong people

7a. To walk with the wise is to acquire the mindset or thought process of the wise
Anyone whose mindset you don’t like go far from them because if you don’t their mindset will be assimilated by you
7b. When you walk with the wise, you take the steps of the wise

8. Through observation (1Kings 4:32-34; Prov. 6:6-11; 24:30-34)
Observation affects discretion
Eyes that look are many but eyes that see are few – Dr Myles Munroe
8a. Observation brings both instruction and revelation, and that is called wisdom
When you are looking and seeing nothing, the eyes are a burden to the head
8b. Observation imparts the heart unto wisdom (Lam. 3:51)

9. Through separation (Prov. 18:1; Dan. 2:16-19)
9a. Times of separation are times of the explosion of revelation (Ps. 46:10)
9b. Times of separation and isolation are often times of visitation (Gen. 32:24-28)
There is a 1day, 3-day, 7-day and 10-day cycle of separation that you can give to yourself

CONCLUSION:
1. Everything that is of value carries a cost
Whatever does not cost you has no value
Until the cost is embraced, the value is never accessed
If you need the wisdom of God, pay the price
Anything that has value is worth the cost
2. Nothing of quality arrives by chance
If it is to be accessed is must be accessed by choice
3. Whatever must be possessed must be pursued (Hos. 6:3; Ps. 63:8)
If it is to be accessed is must be accessed by choice
