Daily Devotional: “God Is Still Working”
Life doesn’t always make sense. Sometimes we experience unexpected delays, painful disappointments, or confusing detours. In those moments, it can feel like God is silent or distant. But Romans 8:28 reminds us that God is not idle—He is actively working in all things for our good.
“All things” includes the things we celebrate and the things we don’t understand. The things we prayed for and the things that broke our hearts. It includes every success, every failure, every joy, and every trial. God’s perspective is eternal, and His purpose is perfect—even when the process feels messy.
If you love God and are called according to His purpose (and as a believer, you are!), then you can have unshakable confidence that nothing is wasted. He is weaving all of it into a masterpiece for your growth, your testimony, and His glory.
Prayer:
Father, thank You for working all things together for my good. Even when I don’t understand what’s happening, I choose to trust Your heart. Give me peace in the waiting and faith in the process. Let my life reflect Your purpose and reveal Your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
