There are people in your family line that are going to see mercy because you started a blessing. God sees you taking the high road. He sees you going out of your way to be good to that friend. He sees you resisting that temptation. He sees you getting up early to thank Him.

He’s not only going to show you blessing and favor, but you’re not going to be able to contain that blessing. It’s going to spill over to your children, your grandchildren, to people in your family line. You started a blessing, now your family line will rise higher. They will go places because of you.

Start paying attention to what you’re dwelling on. When discouraging thoughts come, “Nothing good is in your future. Why do you even have your hopes up? You’re going to be disappointed again.” Before you dwell on that, before you let it take root, ask yourself, “Where is this thought coming from?” If it’s not positive, hopeful, encouraging, empowering, then it’s not from God.

That’s the enemy doing what he does best: trying to plant negative seeds, fearful seeds, inferior seeds. God said in Isaiah, “If you’ll keep your mind stayed on Me, I will keep you in perfect peace.” What is your mind stayed on?

Prayer for Today
Father, thank You that no difficulty and no one can upset Your plans for my life. Thank You that You purposefully order my steps in the way that is pushing me to new levels of my destiny. Help me to declare that You live and are on the throne in the tough times. In Jesus’ Name, Amen
