Today’s Topic: Extraordinary Seed
Scripture: Whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. – Galatians 6:7, NKJV
Today’s Word
Every time you’re obedient to what God says, you’re sowing a seed. When it’s difficult, when you don’t understand it, when you’re uncomfortable, but you do it any way, you’re sowing an extraordinary seed. You’re going to reap an extraordinary harvest. When He asks you to walk away from a friend who’s pulling you down or to give up a bad habit that’s ruining your health, He’s not trying to take something from you. He’s trying to get something better to you.
When He asks you to forgive someone who hurt you, He’ll give you beauty for ashes and make you whole. When He shows you to take a step of faith when you don’t feel qualified, He’ll give you a new beginning. Don’t try to figure it out, don’t overanalyze it, just do what you know God’s asking you to do. The obedience activates God’s power. If you trust Him and do what you know you need to do, you’ll reap a new level of your destiny. When you sow that extraordinary seed, you’re going to see God’s favor in extraordinary ways.
Prayer For Today
“Father, thank You for speaking through Your Word and for giving me an inner ear to know right from wrong and what the best path is. Help me to be sensitive to Your still small voice, to hear it with clarity, and to be quick to obey. I believe that I will reap an extraordinary harvest when I obey. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
INSPIRATIONAL MESSAGE: Don’t be discouraged by the circumstances. You may have an obstacle that’s bigger, stronger: the medical report, an addiction, the debt, the anxiety. It seems like it has the upper hand and you’re at the mercy of what’s against you. But God has not forgotten about you. He sees what you’re going through, who did you wrong, how you don’t see a way, the lonely nights.
Like with Esther, your time is coming. There will be a day when the tables will turn: divine reversals. Your health turns around. You can’t explain it. It’s the hand of God. Your business takes off. Your child gets back on course. That dark cloud lifts off of you. Lies told you that you would always be depressed, but it’s just the opposite. You’re full of joy. You’ve got your passion back.
A relationship didn’t work out, someone walked away. Lies will tell you, “Just live with a broken heart. You’ll never be happy again.” Can I encourage you: it’s going to be just the opposite. You will love again. You will laugh again. You will dream again. Be inspired by this message from Joel, “Just the Opposite”.
