JOEL OSTEEN Devotional 17 March 2025 (Monday)
Today’s Topic: Your Future Is Covered
Scripture: “We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty, the One who is and who was and who is to come, because You have taken Your great power and reigned.” – Revelation 11:17, NKJV
Today’s Word
Today’s Scripture describes God not just as the God of the past and present, He is the God of the future. He is all-knowing. He knows what you need today and what you’re going to need ten years from now. He knows who you’re going to need. Quit worrying about how things are going to work out and trust Him. God is strategic, and He’s got you covered.
Nothing happens by accident. He already knows everything that’s going to happen. The good news is that He’s going ahead of you. He’s lining up the right breaks, the right people, the right opportunities. He has solutions to problems you haven’t even had. The Scripture says that before you call, He’s going to answer you.
Are you living worried, stressed out, trying to figure out how your situation is going to work out? God is saying, “Trust Me. I know where you are, and I know where you’re going. You’re not doing life on your own. When you get to where you’re going, it may be new to you, but I’ve already been there.”
Prayer For Today
“Father, thank You that You are the God of my past, my present, and my future. Thank You that before I even call You answer me, before I even pray You already have the answer lined up. I believe that You are going before me and working in ways that I can’t even imagine. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
TODAY’S INSPIRATIONAL MESSAGE: The true you is the blessed you, the happy you, the successful you, the forgiven you, the confident you.
Sometimes, we think we have to convict people, we have to tell them everything they’re doing wrong, we have to change their mind, but the Holy Spirit is the one that convicts. Our job is to just plant the seed. That seed may fall on hard ground. Their heart may not be open. But the good news is the seed never dies. I read where a seed was found that was over four thousand years old. It had been in an airtight coffin. They took the seed out and it blossomed. It was still alive. All it needed was the right soil.
The Scripture says, “Let the weak say I am strong. Let the poor say I am well off.” Don’t just sit around in weakness; don’t just talk about how life is not fair and “I’ll probably always struggle.” Talking defeat brings more defeat. Talking about the weakness will keep you weak. God’s given you a sword that can break the powers that are holding you back.
You have a sword that can unleash your dreams, unlock your potential and thrust you to a new level. Take it out of its sheath and start swinging it. “I am blessed. I am prosperous. I am strong, healthy, forgiven, favored. I am more than a conqueror.” You keep swinging your sword like that, and you’ll see God do things you couldn’t do: favor, breakthroughs, new levels of your destiny.
