Today’s Word On Joel Osteen Devotional Sunday 21st February 2021

The enemy’s main tool is deception. The Scripture says that God put a crown of glory and honor on your head (Ps. 8:5). There’s nothing the enemy would love more than for you to go through life not wearing your crown, letting people and circumstances convince you that you don’t deserve to be blessed. You don’t have what it takes. You missed your chance. You’re not good enough. Don’t you dare give away your crown! It belongs to you.

It was put there by your Creator. It has nothing to do with how you feel, how you look, or what other people say. It’s based solely on the fact that you are a child of the Almighty God. You don’t need other people’s approval; you have Almighty God’s approval. Our attitude should be, You can celebrate me or criticize me, but one thing is for certain: I’m not giving you my crown. I know who I am. I am royalty. I am accepted. I am approved. I am valuable.

Prayer for Today: Father, thank You that You have put a crown of glory and honor on my head by Your grace. Thank You that You have made me royalty, and the enemy does not have the power to change that. I declare I will not allow anyone or anything to take my crown. In Jesus Name, Amen.

About Joel Osteen
Raised in Houston, Texas, with a loving family of seven and world-renowned parents in full-time ministry, Joel Osteen never imagined that he would follow so closely in his father’s footsteps. As a young man, his training and interests were behind the scenes in television production, though he was close to his father in ministry.
“There’s no greater feeling than being able to help people rise higher and overcome something and feel better about themselves. I think that we’re all made to help others, to lift people UP.” – JOEL OSTEEN

His father always encouraged him to preach, but Joel would politely decline time and time again until one day in October 1999 when his father was admitted to the hospital with kidney complications. Joel finally agreed to preach the next Sunday, and his father passed the following week. Joel’s first sermon was the last his father ever heard. Joel and his wife, Victoria, were suddenly thrust into full-time leadership of Lakewood Church.
