Ignore insignificant insults or losses and do not bother to retaliate—maintain your dignity.

We would go a lot further and enjoy life a lot more if we would simply ignore some things. When somebody is talking about you, you don’t have to straighten them out—just ignore it and move on. When somebody is pushing for an argument, they may be wrong and you know you’re right, but if you win the argument, what is that going to accomplish?
Is it going to move you forward, or is it just going to make you feel good? You may win, but in the big picture it’s taking your time, energy, and the focus you should be using for your dreams. Let somebody else be right for the sake of peace. Let God fight your battles.
We fight too many battles that don’t matter. If a battle is not between you and your destiny, it’s a distraction. It’s the enemy trying to lure you off course when a new level is waiting for you. You have to learn to let things go.
A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that You are always greater than any difficulty I will ever face. Give me the wisdom to know and ignore anything that is just an insignificant insult or an argumentative distraction to get me off track. I believe that You are going to bring me to the next level. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
