Don’t let the world around you squeeze you into its own mould, but let God re-mould your minds from within.

It’s easy to fit in and do what everybody else is doing, go where everybody else goes, think like everyone else thinks. Our friends complain, so we complain; our coworkers show up late, so we show up late; our loved ones have addictions, so we have addictions.

It’s common, but God didn’t breathe His life into you so you would do what everybody else does. You were created to be uncommon, to live by a higher standard, to do what others are not willing to do, and to believe for things that others think are too big. He created you to stand out in the crowd and be a cut above. To be uncommon means you’re passionate about your future.

You ask God for increase, you’re expecting new levels, and you won’t compromise your integrity. You do the right thing when no one is looking, and you keep your word when it costs you something. Other people don’t understand, but you live by a higher standard. Why is that? You’re uncommon.

Prayer for Today: Father, thank You that I don’t have to let society squeeze me into its mold. Thank You that my life can stand out as uncommon for You. I’m not going to be pressured into compromising, and I’m not going to live like everyone else. I’m going to live by a higher standard. In Jesus Name, Amen.
