Today’s Word On Joel Osteen Sunday 7th February 2021 Devotional
In the exodus from Egypt, the Israelites had seen one miracle after another and were camped next door to the Promised Land. Ten of the twelve spies sent into the land came back and said, It’s impossible to take the land. There are giants there! When they saw how big their opponents were, they made the mistake that many of us make today. They said, You can’t argue with the facts. We don’t have a chance. They looked at it only with their natural, logical reasoning and talked themselves out of it.
Don’t let a no way mentality keep you from God’s best. You don’t have to deny the facts of a huge obstacle, just add Joshua’s response: But the Lord is with us. Do not be afraid. If they had a yes way mentality, the same God who parted the Red Sea would have helped them defeat the giants. Instead of spending forty years in the desert, they would have been in the Promised Land. Be a yes way person.
Prayer for Today: Father, thank You that You are so much greater than any giants in the land, and the facts are never a reason to keep me from Your best for my life. Thank You that because You are with me, I can run toward the giants rather than flee. I want to be a yes way person. In Jesus Name, Amen.
