Topic: New Level, New Devil
Scripture: There is a wide-open door for a great work here, although many oppose me. — 1 Corinthians 16:9 (NLT)
The Bible tells us that with every opportunity, opposition always comes. The devil always resists our progress. The devil is always ready to prevent the birth of any good thing God tries to do in us or through us. The Bible says, …And the dragon stationed himself in front of the woman who was about to be delivered, so that he might devour her child as soon as she brought it forth (Revelation 12:4 AMPC).
To me, this represents the enemy stationed and ready to devour the birth of our successes in every area of life. Every time God puts a fresh, new idea in your heart or gives you a dream, a vision, or a new challenge for your life and you desire to give birth to it, the enemy will be there to oppose you. However, if you know this ahead of time, you can press through the opposition and see God’s good will come to pass in your life.
Prayer of the Day: Lord, give me strength to press through opposition and believe in the dreams You’ve placed in my heart. Help me trust that Your will cannot be stopped by the enemy, amen.
