Praise & Worship

There was famine in the days of Abraham. There was famine in the days of Isaac. There was famine also in the days of Joseph, and so on. Times of famine will always occur. However, while some people will die because of famine, a believer should survive, succeed and know no lack. Famine is severe shortage. It is extreme scarcity and serious economic downturn. However, the good news is that because you are a believer in Christ Jesus, the shortage, scarcity and downturn swallowing other people up will not swallow you up.

It is important to know the will of God for you in every situation. It is also important to believe and obey God concerning His will. If you are sick and need healing, the will of God is for you to be healed and Jesus has paid the price for your healing. You only need to go ahead and claim your healing. It is God’s will that you should be rich and prosper. Knowing and believing this should fuel your faith and make you claim your riches and prosperity. God’s will for you is to flourish in famine.

What does God say concerning you in times of famine?

First, God says you will laugh at famine. This means that it will have no adverse effect on you. Even if famine is making others lose their sleep, groan and suffer, your own story will be different. God will give you supernatural supplies; you will not lack.

Job 5:20 says, “In famine he shall redeem you from death: and in war from the power of the sword. You shall be hid from the whip of the tongue: neither shall you be afraid of destruction when it comes. At destruction and famine, you shall neither be afraid of the beasts of the earth.”

Beloved, you are a citizen of heaven walking on earth. You are connected to the economy of heaven. Famine and recession on planet earth should have no adverse effect on you, your business, finance, family and ministry. You are from above and above all! Henceforth, you will laugh at famine and devastation. Heaven will make you flourish in famine, in Jesus’ name.
