Today’s devotional brings us to an all important topic on our home above. It presents something that is of great importance to every one of us. A rich man who was a believer died and he was taken to heaven. When he got to heaven, he saw a beautiful building and another one that was just at the foundational level. The uncompleted building was so dilapidated that he had to ask the angel of God to whom the uncompleted building belonged.
The angel of God told him that the house belonged to the rich man. He also asked who owned the beautiful building. The angel of God told him that it belonged to the man’s houseboy. The man said that there must be a mistake, as he was sure to be the owner of the house, because the money with which the houseboy built the house must have been from the salaries that he paid the boy. The angel of God laughed and said, “We built your house, based on the materials that you sent to heaven.” MFM Daily Devotional 2nd August 2020
