A Quick Thought

Morning is a good time to decide whom you will follow today: what you see, or the God who sees everything.

Today’s Morning Prayer

Praise

Lord, thank You for this new morning. Your mercy is fresh, and Your faithfulness has carried me to today.

Surrender

Father, I give You this Thursday: my schedule, my tasks and my worries. Let Your will be done through me.

Faith

Help me to walk by faith today, not by sight. When I cannot see the way, remind me that You are leading.

Joy

Satisfy me early with Your mercy, so that I may rejoice and be glad. Let joy, and not heaviness, set the tone for my day.

Protection

Cover my family, my home and everyone I love. Keep us safe wherever we go today.

Provision and Favour

Meet my needs today, and let Your favour go before me at work, at home and in every conversation.

Others

Show me one person to encourage today, and give me the words and the time to do it.

A Short Declaration to Speak Aloud

God’s mercy is new this morning. I walk by faith, I am strong in the Lord, and He goes before me today.

Closing Prayer

Thank You, Father, for hearing me. I walk into this Thursday trusting You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Today’s Morning Action Step

Take one step of faith you have been delaying, however small, and pray as you do it.
