Our Bible Verse For Today, Thursday 13th February 2025

Bible Verse: “For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.” — Romans 5:17 (NKJV)

Message:
Through Adam’s sin, death entered the world, affecting all humanity. But God’s grace is far greater than sin. Through Jesus Christ, we receive not only forgiveness but also the gift of righteousness. This gift empowers us to reign in life—not as victims of sin and death but as victorious children of God through His abundant grace.

Lessons:
The Impact of Sin: (Romans 5:12) — “Through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men.” Sin brought separation from God and spiritual death.
The Power of Grace: (Ephesians 2:4-5) — “But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us… made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved).” God’s grace is greater than our failures.

Reigning Through Christ: (2 Corinthians 5:21) — “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” Through Christ, we are not just forgiven; we are made righteous and empowered to live victoriously.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness through Jesus Christ. I am grateful that Your grace is greater than my sins and that through Christ, I can reign in life with victory and purpose. Help me to walk in the confidence of Your love, living each day as a reflection of Your grace and righteousness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
