Topic: Do His Will
Bible Verse:
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.” — Matthew 7:21 (NIV)
Today’s Devotion:
Many can speak the right words, but Jesus reminds us that true faith is demonstrated through obedience. Doing God’s will is not about impressing people or performing religious duties — it’s about living in genuine relationship with Him, where our hearts and actions reflect His desires.
Obedience flows from love. When we truly know God and love Him, doing His will becomes our greatest joy, not a burdensome task. His will may sometimes challenge our comfort, but it always leads to life, peace, and eternal reward.
Today, ask yourself: Am I only speaking about faith, or am I living it out by doing what pleases Him? Let’s not settle for words without action. Let’s be the ones who move His heart through surrendered, faithful living.

Father God, I desire not just to speak of You but to truly live for You. Help me to know Your will clearly and to walk in it daily. Give me a heart that loves Your commands and delights in obedience. Forgive me for the times I have honored You with my lips but not with my life. Lead me deeper into Your truth, and empower me by Your Spirit to do Your will in every season. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
