TOPIC: THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD – YOUR WEAPON OF VICTORY.

SCRIPTURE: Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place. 2 CORINTHIANS 2:14.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The more of God you know, the more indefatigable and undefeatable you become.

It has been confirmed that the universe is a university. Almost everything is saying something; there are lessons to learn from every situation, occurrence or event. And those who are wise and sensitive download these lessons and apply them in life to their advantage.

Today, we are going to look at one of the life-changing lessons from the animal called the skunk.

Skunk is like a squirrel but has arrow-like objects on its body. When the skunk is heatedly pursued by predators, it will release some odoriferous substance with dangerous smell that makes the predators to back off on perceiving it. When the atmosphere is overwhelmed with the smell of that substance, even lions would back off. This is one of the survival mechanisms of the skunk. Amazing!

Now, our anchor scripture says, He causeth us to triumph by the savour (fragrance) of his knowledge in us in every place. Just like the skunk, the savour (fragrance) of God’s knowledge that we carry is our weapon of victory; it is our survival mechanism. When you carry the knowledge of God, something from your inside spreads, and predators (enemies) smell it and run far away from you. The knowledge of God is aromatic; it is spiritual aromatization. So, the more of God you know, the more indefatigable and undefeatable you become.

Job 14:7-9 also buttresses this; For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease. Though the root thereof wax old in the earth, and the stock thereof die in the ground. Yet through the scent of water it will bud, and bring forth boughs like a plant. So, water has scent. And that water is also the Word (Ephesians 5:26).

Beloved, there is a dimension of the knowledge of God and His Word you carry that makes your life a No-Go-Area to the devil and his agents. When you know from the scripture that the devil that can kill you before your time has not been born; when you know that the dog is not qualified to kill the lion; you live in the realm of perpetual victory. When you know that you carry a nature, the Nature of God that guarantees your future, the devil will perceive that you know the truth, and he will run away from you.

Beloved, this is a major way to live and walk in victory.

Remember this: The more of God you know, the more indefatigable and undefeatable you become.

ASSIGNMENT(S):
1. Struggle to know God and His Word, not man. Search the scripture and locate Words that guarantee your preservation and success in life.

2. Internalize and install into your spirit, the scriptures you have located as your spiritual arsenals and deploy them for your victory.

3. Maintain a closer intimacy with God and ask Him to reveal more of Himself to you.

PRAYER: Lord, reveal more of Yourself to me. Open my eyes to see the rhema in Your Word Lord. I receive victory by Your Word in me, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
