STREAMS OF JOY DAILY DEVOTIONAL 11TH APRIL 2022
TODAY’S TOPIC: GO PUBLIC
SCRIPTURE: “But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth.” (Mark 5: 33)
That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.
When Jesus demanded to know who had touched Him, the woman who had been healed from her issue of blood came forth and told Jesus all the truth. Jesus granted that woman a miracle secretly, but she needed to come forth openly to speak of what Jesus had done for her. She got a miracle, but she needed to testify about it openly. She needed to tell the tale of how her affliction of twelve years ended instantly. She needed to testify.

Friend, for whatever affliction that the Lord has delivered you from, go public. Announce your miracle at the roof tops. Announce your miracle to everyone, including those who didn’t know when you were afflicted. Announce your miracle to the multitudes that are doubting the works of God. Announce your miracle and share your testimonies with people who may not have believed as strongly as you believe. Share your testimony.
The woman with the issue of blood could have remained anonymous, but when she shared her testimony, it became a platform for her visibility. Her testimony became her visibility. Hear me as I hear the Lord: as you share the works of God in your life with people around you, God will cause you to be announced in high places. The goodness of God in your life shall announce you to your generation.
No longer shall you be announced by your afflictions. No longer shall your misfortunes advertise you. In this season, people will identify you as that one that God showed mercy. People will call you by your miracle. The same way the woman with the issue of blood was suddenly known by the multitude as one whom Jesus had healed, the supernatural works of God shall become your new identity. Your testimonies shall announce you.
Your testimony shall be your visibility. What the Lord has done for you will become your new identity.
Isaiah 62:4 says: “Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for the LORD delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married.”
Declare With Me: My testimony will announce me to my generation, in Jesus’ name!
