TODAY’S TOPIC: PROPHECY FULFILLED
SCRIPTURE: “And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet,” (Matthew 2: 5)
That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.
One instructive dimension of the birth of Jesus is that it was clearly a fulfillment of prophecy. Several years before the birth of Jesus, different prophets had prophesied about the birth of a Messiah. It may have seemed like an impossibility, or perhaps a forgotten plan of God, but God remembered to fulfill His word. It may have taken longer than some men expected, but it eventually came to pass. God’s word was fulfilled.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: every word that God has spoken to you will be fulfilled. Every prophecy about your tomorrow will be fulfilled. Every word that God has spoken concerning your new season and next level will be fulfilled. Every word that God has spoken concerning your career, business, ministry, family, finances, etc. will be fulfilled. Every word of the Lord concerning your rising will be fulfilled to the letter.
The prophecy of Jesus’ birth was one that had lingered for generations, but in a matter of time, it was fulfilled in full. It seemed that God may have forgotten, but God did not forget to fulfill the word He had spoken. Hear me as I hear the Lord: that prophecy that has lingered is about to be fulfilled. That delayed expectation you have been waiting for is about to be fulfilled. That delayed congratulations is about to be fulfilled.
In the fulfillment of that prophecy of Jesus’ birth, there was no deviation from what the prophet had written. There was no part of the prophecy that failed to come to pass. Hear me as I hear the Lord: no part of what the Lord has said concerning you will fail to come to pass. No part of your prophecy will be missing in the day of fulfillment. No part of God’s plan concerning you will be forgotten as the Lord shows up on your behalf.
Welcome to that new season where your long forgotten prophecies are about to be fulfilled. Welcome to your season of fulfillment of the word of the Lord.
Isaiah 55: 11 says: “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.”
Declare With Me: The word of the Lord concerning me is about to be fulfilled, in Jesus’ name!
