TOPIC: IT IS WRITTEN
SCRIPTURE: “4. And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born. 5. And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet, 6. And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel.” (Matthew 2: 4-6)
That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.
When Herod learnt about the birth of Jesus, he summoned his chief priests and scribes of the people, and demanded information on the birth of Jesus. Herod was told that “It is written”, he was told what was written about Christ, and he sought to truncate it. His plan was to scuttle what God had said. His plan was to truncate what was already written about Jesus. His plan was to stop the plan of God which was already written.
Friend, if there be promises of God upon your life, then it should not surprise you that the enemy is doing everything he can to scuttle it. The enemy is doing everything he can to ensure that you do not have the joyful days the Lord promised you. The enemy is doing all he can to ensure that your success and greatness will never materialize. The enemy is doing everything to ensure that God’s word concerning you is not fulfilled.
Today, every prophecy over your life that the enemy is trying to scatter, let the fire of God answer. Every word of the Lord concerning your tomorrow that the enemy is working hard to truncate, I decree, it will not come to pass. Every plot of the enemy to make your prophecies end up unfulfilled, I decree, let it scatter by the fire of God. Let the arm of the Lord be stretched out against every Herod opposing your prophecy.
Whatever the Lord has written about you is already written, and no Herod can thwart it. It is already written that you will go higher, and no power of hell can thwart it. It is already written that you shall not die but live and declare the works of the Lord, and no demon of hell can thwart it. What is written about you in scripture is already written, and if the Lord said it, then it must be fulfilled, nothing missing and nothing broken.
Every word of the Lord that has been written or spoken concerning you must surely come to pass, whether the Herod’s of this world like it or not. What is written is written, and no Herod can change it.
Isaiah 55: 11 says: “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.”
Declare With Me: What is written about me cannot be truncated, in Jesus’ name!
