TOPIC: GIVE THANKS 3
SCRIPTURE: “And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would.” (John 6: 11)
That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.
In our Focal Scripture, as Jesus got set to feed the multitude that came to Him, He took the loaves and gave thanks to God. Notice that the loaves and the fishes eventually multiplied. So, Jesus was about to activate a season of divine multiplication, and He did so by giving thanks unto God. Jesus prepared the grounds for the multiplication of the bread and fishes, by giving thanks to God. Thanksgiving multiplied what Jesus had.
Friend, thanksgiving is a multiplier. Thanksgiving will unlock the season of multiplication in your life. Thanksgiving will open the season of big things in your life. The key to your season of greater things, is thanksgiving. Your key to the season of mega results beyond your capacity and expectations, is thanksgiving. Your key to the multiplication of your bread and fishes, is thanksgiving. Thanksgiving will multiply you on all sides.
Jesus gave thanks, and five loaves and two fishes suddenly multiplied to the extent of feeding a multitude. By reason of thanksgiving, little turned to many. Hear me as I hear the Lord: by your thanksgiving, your little will turn to many. By your thanksgiving, your ‘not enough’ will become more than enough. By reason of thanksgiving, what is in your hands will be multiplied. By reason of your thanksgiving, what you have in your hands will grow.
If the enemy has succeeded in making you sad on account of the things that are small in your hands, then he is getting you set to miss out on the divine multiplication that should happen through your thanksgiving. The thanks you are yet to give to God for your little, might just be the reason why you have not moved from little, to many. Your ingratitude might just be keeping God from doing more than you ever asked for.
Use your thanksgiving to cause a multiplication of what is in your hands. Use your thanksgiving to unlock your new season of divine multiplication.
Jeremiah 30: 19 says: “And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small.”
Declare With Me: I move from thanksgiving to divine multiplication, in Jesus’ name!
