TODAY’S TOPIC: STRATEGIC CONNECTIONS
SCRIPTURE: “So he arose and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, behold, the widow woman was there gathering of sticks: and he called to her, and said, Fetch me, I pray thee, a little water in a vessel, that I may drink.” (1 Kings 17:10)
That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.
Prior to our Focal Scripture, God told Elijah that He had commanded a widow woman to feed him while in Zarephath. That woman was probably not the only widow in Zarephath. How exactly was Elijah supposed to identify the widow that was going to feed him? Notice that in our Focal Scripture, as Elijah arrived at the gate of the city, the widow woman he was looking for was right there. Who he was looking for was waiting for him at the gate.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: what you are looking for will wait for you at the gate. What you are looking for will be positioned strategically where you will see it. The men you are looking for will be waiting for you where you will see them easily. The helpers you are looking for will be waiting for you where you will see them. The opportunities that heaven has packaged for you will be waiting where you will see them.
Elijah did not need to go round Zarephath before locating the woman that was commanded to feed him. He just got to the gate, and she was there. His path and the path of who he needed were both aligned. Hear me as I hear the Lord: your path and the path of the things you need will be aligned. Your path and the path of your helpers will be aligned. Your path and the path of your next level will be aligned. Your path will align with the resources you need. Your path will align with greatness.
Today, I decree: receive strategic connections in your career, business, ministry, vocation, etc. Let there be strategic connections that will take you to your next level. Let there be strategic connections that will open new doors and gates for you easily. Every man you need in order to rise higher, I decree, receive them by fire. Any man you need for a turnaround and better repositioning, they will be strategically located to favour you.
The days of groping about, seeking the help and men you need, are over. As surely as the Lord lives, strategic connections are coming your way.
Psalm 16: 6 says: “The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage.”
