TODAY’S TOPIC: A RISEN ARMY
SCRIPTURE: “So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.” (Ezekiel 37: 10)
That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.
Our Focal Scripture captures that moment when Ezekiel prophesied to the dry bones whose flesh had just been restored, and when they arose, they were an exceeding great army. It was not a case of each person being raised to go and stay on their own; it was a case of men raised together and connected together in a purpose. It was a case of men who were raised and planted together in a major destiny connection.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: as God raises you, He will plant you in major destiny connections that will help you to make impact and fulfill purpose. As God raises you, He will send you the men you need to become all that He designed you to become. As God raises you, He will bring you profitable relationships that will carry you into your high places. As God raises you, He will bring you men who are going the same way with you in destiny.
One major principle in every army is the idea of protecting even the weak. When one soldier is down, others run to his rescue. When one soldier is weak, other strong soldiers come to his rescue. In this season, God is positioning men around you who will come to your rescue when you are weak. God is positioning men around you who will speak for you when you cannot speak for yourself. God is sending you the strong men you need.
God did not choose a few of the dry bones and abandoned the rest. They were all in the valley together, and He raised them all. Hear me as I hear the Lord: you will not be raised alone; those connected to you will also be raised. Your family members will be raised. Those trapped in the same valley you have been trapped in will also be raised. God will pull you out and pull out those around you.
Get set for that rising that will birth an exceeding great army. Get set for that rising that will involve everyone connected to you. Get set for that rising that will attract the men you need to fulfill purpose.
Isaiah 60: 1 says: “Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.”
Declare With Me: As I rise, those connected to me will also rise; men I need are positioned for my sake, in Jesus’ name!
