TOPIC: NO BONDAGE
SCRIPTURE: “And had taken the women captives, that were therein: they slew not any, either great or small, but carried them away, and went on their way.” (1 Samuel 30: 2)
That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.
The Amalekites that invaded Ziklag took away the children of David as well as the children of his men. Children are the future of their parents. Children are there to take the place of their parents when the parents are long gone. They represent the future. So the enemies of David showed up to take his future into captivity. They came to make a mess of David’s tomorrow. They wanted David’s tomorrow to be in captivity.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: your future will not be in captivity. Your future will not be subject to the plans of the enemy. Your future will not be at the mercy of the powers of hell. Your tomorrow will not be in the bondage of the powers of darkness. No enchantment of the enemy will preside over your tomorrow. No divination of the enemy will prevail over your tomorrow. The wishes of your haters will not rule over your future.

The enemies took David’s children in order to put them in the place of slavery. They wanted David’s future to be a slave to the enemy. They wanted his tomorrow to be imprisoned. Hear me as I hear the Lord: your tomorrow will not be a slave to the enemy. Your tomorrow will not be imprisoned by powers of darkness. Your tomorrow won’t be made a victim of the wickedness of the wicked. Your tomorrow won’t be enslaved.
Jesus did not redeem you so that you can have a future that is at the mercy of the forces of darkness. Jesus did not redeem you so that the enemy can take your future to wherever he wants to. If there be any plot to take your tomorrow into captivity, refuse to have it happen under your watch. Refuse to accept that your tomorrow will produce results that speak of the influence of the enemy. Refuse to have a tomorrow in bondage.
Guard your tomorrow with prayers and prophetic proclamations. Speak against every bondage that is waiting to rule over your future.
Numbers 23: 23 says: “Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel: according to this time it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, What hath God wrought!”
Declare With Me: My future will not be held captive by the enemy, in Jesus’ name!
