Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus:That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. – Romans 15:5-6
Today’s Inspiration
There is a special bond between Christians of all denominations. No matter our language or customs, we all share one mouth that we use to glorify God. I am reminded of the phrase used throughout American history, E Pluribus Unum. Through many, one. God believers’ numbers are many, but the message is one. The God is one. Thanks be to God!
Night Prayer
Giver of light and my refuge, I am grateful that You have surrounded me with other loving and passionate members, O Lord. Give us the wisdom and humility to approach one another with grace and understanding that it is not a competition between believers. We should be selfless and through the many voices share a singular message. We are all grateful that You love us and we will all love You with all of our heart and strength. I pray this in the name of Your son, Jesus Christ. Amen.
