Daily Devotion Friday 6th June 2025 Message
Title: Faith That Moves Heaven
Scripture Reading: Matthew 8:10 (NKJV)
“When Jesus heard it, He marveled, and said to those who followed, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel!’”
Devotional Thought:
Faith gets God’s attention—but great faith moves His hand. In Matthew 8, a Roman centurion approaches Jesus, believing that a mere word from Him is enough to heal his servant. Jesus doesn’t just answer his request—He marvels at his faith.
This kind of faith doesn’t rely on signs or feelings. It’s rooted in the authority of Christ’s word. It believes that if Jesus says it, it is done. Imagine the heart of God being moved by your confidence in Him!
On this Friday, shake off doubt. Let your faith speak louder than your circumstances. Approach Jesus like the centurion did—not with fear, but with bold assurance. His Word still heals, delivers, and transforms.
Supporting Scriptures:
Hebrews 11:6 – “But without faith it is impossible to please Him…”
James 1:6 – “But let him ask in faith, with no doubting…”
Mark 11:22–24 – “Have faith in God… whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them…”
Declaration:
I declare that my faith is alive and strong. I believe the Word of the Lord, and I trust in His power to move. I walk by faith, not by sight. Today, my faith will move heaven, and heaven will move on my behalf.
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, Thank You for honoring faith. Help me to trust You completely, even when I don’t see the outcome yet. Like the centurion, let my heart believe in Your authority and power. Speak Your word over my life, my family, and my situation. I receive Your promise by faith, and I believe that You are already working.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
