TODAY’S TOPIC: WHEN YOU MAKE MISTAKES

Today’s Scripture: John 21:6, ESV
[Jesus] said to them, “Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some.” So they cast it, and now they were not able to haul it in, because of the quantity of fish.

Today’s Word
In today’s Scripture, Peter went out in the boat following the biggest mistake of his life, denying that he knew Christ at His trial. You might think God would say, “Peter, you’re never going to have My blessing and catch another fish. You blew it.” No, just because you made a mistake doesn’t mean that God cancels your destiny.

Peter blew it, but a few days later he had a big-time catch. That’s the mercy of our God. When you make mistakes, God doesn’t take away your fish; He holds your fish. They’re a stored up blessing. When you get back on the right path and start honoring Him, He’ll release what should have been yours. You may think, I’ve blown it too many times. God had good things in store for me, but it’s too late now. No, God is holding your fish. He’s saying, “I dare you to believe again. Your destiny still has your name on it.”

Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that when I make mistakes and blow it, Your mercy still covers me. Thank You that Your favor, Your blessings, Your healings, and Your freedom are stored up for me. I believe that as I honor You, You will release what is mine. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
