Joel Osteen Devotional 19 May 2024 || The Power of Faith
TODAY’S JOEL OSTEEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE FOR SUNDAY 19TH MAY 2024
TODAY’S TOPIC: THE POWER OF FAITH
Today’s Scripture: Mark 11:22, ESV
And Jesus answered them, “Have faith in God.”
Today’s Word – Joel Osteen Devotional 19 May 2024
In Mark 11, the disciples were surprised when they saw a fig tree had withered up one day after Jesus said that no one would ever eat from it again. Nothing on the outside of the tree had looked any different, but the roots had immediately begun to wither. He was showing us that the moment you believe and receive what you ask for in prayer, things in the unseen realm start lining up in your favor. Good breaks, the right people, healing, or abundance start heading your way.
Jesus responded to their surprise by saying, “Have faith in God.” It’s not faith in your circumstances, or what you can do, or in another person. They don’t control the universe. They didn’t part the Red Sea or raise Lazarus from the dead. Our God is all-powerful. When He speaks, angels go to work, forces of darkness are broken, good breaks come chasing you down. One touch of His favor will catapult you ahead. What you’ve believed for and received in your spirit may look impossible, but it’s nothing for our God.
Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that You are in no way limited to what my circumstances look like or have been. Thank You that I can have the faith to believe and receive what I ask You for. Help me to have the patience to wait confidently for the miracle You have set in motion. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
