TOPIC: FROM PROPHECY TO FULFILLMENT
SCRIPTURE: “28. And when he had thus spoken, he went before, ascending up to Jerusalem. 29. And it came to pass, when he was come nigh to Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount called the mount of Olives, he sent two of his disciples, 30. Go ye into the village over against you; in the which at your entering ye shall find a colt tied, whereon yet never man sat: loose him, and bring him hither.” (Luke 19: 28-30)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.
It is important to note that there was a prophecy about Jesus riding on a colt to enter triumphantly into Jerusalem (see Zechariah 9 vs. 9). The colt was already factored in by prophecy. Notice that as Jesus approached Jerusalem, He could not proceed until His disciples went and fetched the colt. The colt could not speak, but it was remembered because there was a word ahead of time. The prophecy concerning the colt was fulfilled.
Friend, I bring you a word from God today: whatever the Lord has said concerning you will come to pass. Whatever prophecy that has gone ahead of you will come to pass. Whatever God has promised to make happen for you will be fulfilled. Whatever Jesus said you will become, get set to become it. Whatever the word of the Lord had decreed concerning you will not be forgotten by God. God’s word will be fulfilled in your life.
The prophecy about the colt came even before the birth of Jesus, but Jesus rode on the colt very close to the end of His ministry on earth. So it was a prophecy that truly tarried, but in a matter of time, it came to pass. Hear me as I hear the Lord: your prophecy may tarry, but it must surely come to pass.
What the Lord said concerning you may tarry, but it will certainly be fulfilled in a matter of time.
Keep speaking the word of the Lord concerning you. Keep proclaiming the word of the Lord. Keep your words and thoughts in alignment with what God says about you. Keep your eyes on the word of the Lord, no matter what is going on around you.
If God said it, then He will do it. If God has announced it, then be sure that He has what it takes to make it become your reality. Even if your prophecy seems impossible, just believe it.
Don’t let the enemy cause you to lose confidence in the word of the Lord. Even if you forget the word, God is faithful to remember His word to bring it to pass.
Jeremiah 1: 12 says: “Then said the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.”
Declare With Me: God’s word concerning me will come to pass, nothing missing and nothing broken, in Jesus’ name!
