Joel Osteen Devotional 3rd August 2025 Sunday Inspirational Message
Today’s Topic: What Are You Magnifying?
Scripture: Oh, magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt His name together. – Psalm 34:3, NKJV
Today’s Word
Perhaps you’ve heard about the little boy who lived down the street from a bully who was always making his life miserable. The bully looked so big and intimidating that the boy didn’t dare to stand up to him. But one day he discovered that when he looked through the wrong end of his telescope, it made the bully look so small that he wasn’t afraid of him anymore. Maybe you need to turn your telescope around. You’ve magnified your problems long enough—the addiction, the debt, the opposition.
No wonder you feel weak, intimidated, not able. You have to change your perspective and magnify the greatness of our God. Praise Him for who He is, and magnify what He put in you. When you see things from God’s point of view, you’ll realize that what you’re up against is no match for you. It looks daunting, but the truth is that you’re the powerful one. You’re the one who has God’s favor. You’re the one who can defeat giants. The forces for you are greater than the forces against you.
Prayer For Today
“Father, thank You that You are the Most High God who provides, protects, heals, and makes a way for me. Thank You that You are here with me in all the challenges of my life. I’ve magnified my problems long enough. I choose to magnify You and exalt Your name. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
TODAY’S INSPIRATIONAL MESSAGE: Quit worrying about whether you’re going to fall out of someone’s good graces, trying to get something that they’re never going to give. If they do give it, it’s going to be conditional. “As long as you stay in my box, then I’ll approve you.” You don’t need them. They’re a distraction. If you’re not aware, you’ll waste time and energy trying to win them over. Being frustrated. Life is too short to live that way. You have a destiny to fulfill.
