Read and Meditate on Today’s Joyce Meyer Daily Devotional for Sunday 10th July 2022 written by Joyce Meyer. God bless you as you study His Word, Amen!

TODAY’S JOYCE MEYER DEVOTIONAL 10 JULY 2022, SUNDAY

TODAY’S TOPIC: IN THE POTTER’S HANDS

SCRIPTURE: But who are you, a mere man, to criticize and contradict and answer back to God? Will what is formed say to him that formed it, Why have you made me thus? Has the potter no right over the clay, to make out of the same mass (lump) one vessel for beauty and distinction and honorable use, and another for menial or ignoble and dishonorable use? – Romans 9:20-21 (AMPC)

We are like a hard, cold lump of clay that is not very pliable or easy to work with. But God puts us on His potter’s wheel and begins to refashion and make us because He doesn’t like what we have become. Sometimes the process of molding is painful because we do not fit the mold into which God is trying to fit us. So, God keeps working on us, trimming away this bad attitude and that wrong mindset, carefully remolding and reshaping us until gradually we are changed into His likeness.

Don’t be discouraged with yourself because you have not yet arrived. You can walk in spiritual power as long as you maintain an attitude of pressing on. As long as you do your best to cooperate with God, He is pleased with you. Enjoy your life in the Spirit right now on the way to where God is shaping you. Let the Potter do His work of changing you.

Prayer Starter: Lord, it’s good to be in Your hands, confident that You are working on reshaping me into Your image. I look forward to the day when You bring me to completion, amen.
