SCRIPTURE: Psalm 139:13 – 24

SCRIPTURE UNION DAILY GUIDE 10TH APRIL 2021 TODAY’S OUTLINE:
Do you know that you are God’s masterpiece? Read vs.13-16 again and carefully observe why as God’s image, we are unique. Also see the painstaking effort God took to make each of us. It is amazing, how God took his time to “knit” each one of us together right in our mother’s womb (v.13). What does this tell you about who you are and God’s knowledge of you?
The fact that we are made by God’s very hand, in His image and likeness (Genesis 1:26), means we are perfectly made. Don’t allow anyone to look down on you because of your gender or race (Genesis 1:27). You are a perfect creation of God (v.14). He knows you very well (vs.15-16a). He is fully aware of every moment of your life (v.16b).
What can we learn from the Psalmist in vs.17-18? It is good to always reflect on the things God has done in our lives and express our appreciation to Him. Consider the attitude of the psalmist towards the wicked and why (see vs.19-22 and compare James 4:4).

• Meditate on vs.23-24 and turn them into your prayer for today.
• Ask for the spirit of grace and excellence in all you do.
Prayer For The Week:
Pray that God will raise us to become true worshippers and true disciples of Christ that will show the life of Christ to the world in need.
Pray for grace to live like Jesus, for a discerning spirit and for the simplicity of Christian faith.
Pray for the Reformed Presbyterian Church of Nigeria (RPCN).
Offer a prayer of faith in line with Exodus 1:20-21
