Opening Prayer: As I read your word O Lord, grant me an insight and grace to do your will in Jesus name.

It is amazing that after such rebellion in Numbers 13,Numbers 14, God’s grace allowed Israel’s relationship with Him to continue. With God, their entry into the Promised Land is certain, so He gives them instructions on what to do with their offerings once they have entered the Promised Land and begun farming it. Notice the extra items they are to bring along with the offerings they give from their herd or flock and the one thing that must characterise their offering (Numbers 15:3).
The priests consume these offerings (see Leviticus 7:11-15) and it appears the extras are meant to provide a full meal for them; God’s way of meeting the needs of His servants. The Israelites were to give offerings of gratitude from all with which God has blessed them and they are to give generously. God’s instructions for these offerings were the same for the Jews as well as for the foreigners. And for us today, God expects us to also give freely and bountifully in appreciation of His salvation and to provide meat (food) in His house for His servants.

Closing Prayer: Grant that I may gladly and generously give back to you in appreciation of your indescribable gift in our Lord Jesus Christ.
Pray for Christians in positions of authority to be bold and courageous in upholding integrity and truth Pray that they will not bow to the depravation in the society. Pray that they will be delivered from every spirit of covetousness and unfaithfulness.

PRAY FOR:
* Personal discipline, determination in life; and wisdom to choose godly friends who will help them to walk in the way of the Lord. • Boldness and courage to stand out for God and to deny all evil, negative peer pressures and negative use of social media. • Them that they will be great and useful instruments in God’s hand to influence their generation.
PRAY AGAINST:
* Keeping bad company and friends and negative peer pressure.
