Scripture Union Daily Guide 21 September 2026 Outline

Today’s passage mentions the seven last plagues (Revelation 15:1) and the joy of the redeemed who did not compromise their stand during the great tribulation (Revelation 13:7-10). This again confirms that Christians in the days of the Antichrist will face the tribulation.

The Christian life is a fierce conflict with the powers of Satan. God has not left His children helpless. Jesus referred to this in Luke 9:23-26. See also similar references to this in Matthew 24:15,24-25; Mark 13:13-23. These references alert us to be genuine in our faith and pursue an intimate relationship with the Lord (Luke 21:34-36).
In these days of worldliness, superficial faith and compromise, does the cross or total separation unto God have a place in your life? See the joy of the overcomers (Revelation 15:2-6).

The scene changes to God’s judgment on the wicked and rebellious (Revelation 15:6-8). God’s glory is often revealed in two ways: When His standards are upheld, and men truly worship Him as in Exodus 40:34-35 and when men defy His sovereignty and oppose Him (Numbers 16:19-21). God’s wrath on those who worshipped the devil releases the smoke of His judgment on them.

And So:
Meditate on Luke 21:34-36.
